Get Your Beach House Ready for the Season
The clocks have sprung forward. The trees are starting to bloom. And pollen is … well, everywhere! What does all this mean? Run showers and sinks: The same goes for your plumbing and water systems—confirming that all is flowing smoothly before you turn on that tap will save you a lot of headaches and money later.
Do an overall structural check: Appliances working? All lights and ceiling fans turn on? Any bulbs need to be changed? All windows intact with no cracks? No water leaks in the ceiling? You’ll gain invaluable peace of mind from knowing you were mindful of all maintenance issues ahead of vacation time.
Once the “big stuff” is taken care of, you can move on to the little stuff that turns a trip into a treasured memory:
